kyototea08full

Take a look at this week’s Designer Spotlight on Bolt Fabric Boutique’s Blog to catch their interview with me.  If you live in the Portland area and haven’t had a chance to check out their store, I highly recommend it.  Gina Cadenasso has a great eye and stocks her gem of a shop with cutting edge prints.

RACC Quilt Acquisition

August 16, 2013

Winter-Eddy-web

Today, Oregon’s Regional Arts and Culture Council purchased my wool quilt, entitled, Winter Eddy, for their Portable Works Collection! Each work in the collection hangs for 6 months to 5 years either in a City of Portland or a Multnomah County building where the public can enjoy it. Winter Eddy was inspired by watching water flow over river rocks during frequent hikes in the Columbia Gorge.

  • Ellie’s Spirals

Fun fact about the amazing Ellie Clarkson: not only was she an unrelenting Scrabble shark, but she also had a thing for spirals.

  • Gus’s Vermont Mountain

This is the view that Gus loved seeing out of his living room in Vermont.

  • Judith’s Seasons:Winter

This will be the first of four posts showcasing a series of quilts I made (and am still making at the writing of this post) for Judith and her family in Cologne, Germany.
