Back in 2021, I felt exhilarated to have been featured in the glossy pages of Women Create Magazine, a leading source of inspiration and information for artists and makers around the world. But finding myself in its hallowed pages a second time, wow, what an incredible honor!

A big thank you to Susan Harold, Editor-in-Chief of the Women Create Magazines and her team at the World of Women Create Podcast for offering me the opportunity to share my work through two different channels.

As artists, we share our work in various settings and spaces, but often it’s hard to know how our work lands for people. Creating a piece of art can be a lot like singing into a canyon: you listen intently for an echo, for some indication that your work has touched someone else and reverberated, but it doesn’t always happen. And that’s okay. But when it does happen – like here, from the reader mentioned in the story, or from the What Women Create team, it truly reinspires and reinvogrates at least this artist. After all, we are not alone in this world. How wonderful to be reminded of it.
