Customer Talent with Mineral Forest Fabrics

April 8, 2014

I have been having a lovely rapport with an Etsy customer who lives in France.  She ordered a set of custom sized runners, and I sent along the fabric ends that I couldn’t use so she could create something for herself.  She just sent me this photo of a beautiful scarf she made.  Thank you, Sylvie!

From Lori’s Notebook

  • Fashionista Florida Tartans

When Chip’s wife, Kate, first contacted me to discuss making memorial quilts for Chip’s children, she assured me that I would love the collection of shirts she was sending because Chip was “a total fashionista”.

  • Aurelio’s Chimes

For all of the memorial quilts I have made so far, I always feel a sweet sort of sadness that I will never get the chance to meet the people who are being honored through my work.

  • Honoring a Theater Man

According to Tom’s wife Catherine, Tom never took on a project without jumping in full throttle.
