New Birdland Quilt

April 8, 2011

Here is one of my latest quilts made from my Spring 2011 Montreux Fabric Collection.  It is featured in the Spring 2011 issue of Fabric Trends Magazine.  Look for the new Montreux fabrics in May at your local fabric store.  Time to nest and start quilting!

The Dec/Jan 2011 issue of Quilt Magazine is featuring A Taste of Honey, one of my latest quilts using fabrics from my Woodland Fabric Collection. The Woodland fabrics are being ordered and delivered to fabrics stores throughout the Fall.  If you don’t see the collection in your local fabric store, let them know about it!!  Fall weather is perfect for quilting.

New Wild Garden Quilt

July 8, 2010

Here is the first small wall quilt made from my Shasta Collection fabrics, Wild Garden, 42″ x 42″.  I chose just the prints from the Summer Blaze color combination and combined them with a few solids.  Great fun and very summery.

From Lori’s Notebook

  • Mark’s van der Rohe

It’s not often that the clothing I receive for my memorial quilts so clearly reflects a person’s passion and life work.

  • Louisa’s Eclipse

I believe many of us from a certain generation can relate to having held on to a box of our mother’s or grandmother’s table linens which we don’t have the heart to discard, nor do we want to bust out our irons every time we have a dinner party.

  • A Tartan for Tasmania

After having successfully shipped my most recent quilt all the way to my client Sigrid in Tasmania, I can officially say that my work has made its way across the world.
