The wonderful women, Eleanor and Litsa, who host the online grief forum What’s Your Grief.com interviewed me about my memorial quilts. They posed some really thoughtful questions that really got to the heart of why I do this work.  Click here to read their blog post.

From Lori’s Notebook

  • 2022 Graduation Quilts

My Graduation Quilt Project hit its pinnacle this year with the largest number of graduates in a single year, one of which included my son, Lee.

  • Ted’s Atrium

Perhaps because there are several architects in my own family, or perhaps because I find architecture’s intersection between art and design so compelling, I experienced a sense of excited nervousness at the outset of this memorial quilt project.

  • Roy’s Light

During my initial conversation with clients, the first thing I ask is for them to share a little bit about their loved one who died.
